Dr. Beth Gallant is originally from Douglas County and pleased to have returned! She earned a Bachelor of Science at Oregon State University in 2005, before jet setting to Costa Rica to save a few sea turtles. She returned to the United States to attend medical school at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California.
After earning her doctor of osteopathy in 2010, she moved to West Palm Beach, Florida to immerse herself in the study of pediatrics. She graduated from residency and earned her pediatric board certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics in 2013. Post residency, she worked alongside 3 incredible pediatricians in a hospital owned pediatric practice in Lebanon, OR. But there is no place like home, so when Mercy Medical Center expressed interest in starting a pediatric office of their own, Dr. Beth was ready for the challenge and moved to Roseburg. After one year of service, an opportunity presented itself in private practice, and when opportunity knocks, one must answer.
January 1st 2016, Dr. Beth and her business savvy husband Greg, became proud owners of North River Pediatrics.
Becoming a solo physician has been a long time goal for Dr. Beth and she is excited to provide care for your family. She is passionate about well child care, being available to provide proficient pediatric evaluations when your little one is ill, and offering recommendations as questions come up.
Dr. Beth is an active member of the AAP, particularly the Section on Administration and Practice Management where she holds a position on the Executive Council. She supports her profession and future colleagues by teaching osteopathic medical students from Western University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Beth and Greg have two children of their own as well as the happiest yellow lab, Turtle, who may greet you in the office. They enjoy time with family, good food, and sunshine (with sunscreen of course).
